Rick sez: Once again, we were determined to create a demo so we could start playing live shows. We had played the Jesuit/Ursuline talent show by now (I believe) and figured things were going to start moving. We really put a lot of effort into this album, and aside from the sound quality, I think it accurately portrays where we were as a band at that time. Ryan was drumming with us full time by now -- full time being whenever he decided to actually come to practice (insert drummer joke here).
The name and cover of the album is a parody of Pantera's "Vulgar Display of Power" for some reason.
"Yosh It!" is a classic Nispy instrumental written by our own Yosh. Like the word nispy, if you say it over and over you get a clever high school humor surprise. The album also features the Nispy theme song, "Trout" aka "Nispy Really Sucks."
